Disillusioned with the religious hierarchy after a few years of study, I have decided the austere life of the acolyte is not exciting or profitable enough. Sure, if I stuck with the church for years I could find a position that might allow me the life-style that is my due. However, the time spent in the cloister was not a total loss. Learning how to influence people was a great skill and with practice will allow me to reach my goal of wealth and power.
